I provide virtual therapy sessions to children, youth, adults and families who are seeking stronger mental health and wellbeing. My warm presence, my training and skills, and my straight forward approach, are some of the reasons my clients have a positive and fulfilling experience participating in therapy.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy sessions, I help my clients identify mental and emotional patterns. We explore how these responses have served a purpose, and we consider where new possibilities for responding to challenges might be useful. Clients will be able to relax old defenses and gain awareness about old patterns in a non-judgmental space. I help my clients integrate new ways of responding to challenges and develop new possibilities for navigating life’s ups and downs.
Couples Therapy
In couples therapy sessions, I help couples reduce conflict and increase relationship satisfaction. I help couples identify patterns that may be getting in the way of their relationship goals. I provide guidance and tools for improving communication, increasing perspective-taking and strengthening physical and emotional intimacy.
Co-Parenting Support
In co-parenting sessions, I help individuals with shared children to co-parent in a more harmonious and effective manner. I provide strategies for better communication and problem solving. I help my clients to guide and support their children as a team, despite individual differences or historical challenges.
Therapy For Children & Youth
In child-focused therapy sessions, I help young people learn about themselves. Together we explore factors that may be contributing to mental and emotional distress and we implement strategies for overcoming these challenges. Emotion regulation, stress, anxiety and depression, are examples of problems that I help young people understand and navigate. Parent involvement in sessions is optional but often recommended in order to achieve the best outcomes.
